Foy

Tatum

President/Managing Partner

Foy Tatum has had a lifelong passion for development and construction and continues to foster Halstead’s commitment to efficient and profitable development, engineering and construction. After attending Auburn University and working for one of the nation’s largest steel fabrication suppliers, Tatum joined Halstead in 1984 to oversee leasing and property acquisitions. Later Tatum served as Halstead’s Vice-President and became President of Halstead in 1997. Under his leadership, the company has grown to include services that compliment Halstead’s offerings making Halstead a unique turnkey resource for retail development.

Jeremy

Dickinson

Senior Vice President

Jeremy received a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Auburn University Montgomery in 2001 and began his career as a Commercial Loan Portfolio Examiner at Regions Bank. As a loan examiner, Jeremy traveled the southeastern United States auditing various commercial loan portfolios, as well as performing due diligence for potential bank mergers. Jeremy then became a commercial real estate relationship manager at Regions before moving to BBVA Compass Bank. At BBVA Compass, Jeremy productively managed and grew his commercial real estate loan portfolio, successfully financing numerous land acquisition and development deals and commercial and residential construction projects. In 2006, Jeremy entered the commercial real estate brokerage and development field as the Qualifying Broker for Developers Realty, LLC where he specialized in retail site selection, retail leasing, property management and assisting developers in market analysis, cost analysis and project management. Jeremy also acquired real estate brokerage licenses in Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida and South Carolina. With his over 18 years’ experience in commercial real estate and finance Jeremy has developed strong knowledge and understanding of most every aspect of commercial real estate development. ​

Parker Mount, Jr.

Vice President, Development

Parker’s vast experience in real estate development encompasses the hospitality, entertainment, retail, and restaurant industries. Following graduation with a Business degree in Finance from Auburn University, Parker began his career in shopping center management, leasing, and sales with Halstead Developers in addition to brokering 10 sites around the southeast U.S. to KFC. He directed and coordinated development projects across multiple states and regions in the United States, supervising aggressive expansion plans while assisting franchisees with growth development programs. After his successes in the restaurant industry, he was hired as Vice President of Development for Jillian’s Entertainment, a themed entertainment organization with venues including billiards, bowling, electronic gaming, restaurant, bar, and concert venues. Eventually, Parker’s career path led him to Hospitality development and operation. As a principle and one of six members of the senior team of Milestone Hospitality; he oversaw all real estate development, with the highlight, in opening the first dual branded Hampton – Homewood in the U.S. In July 2019, Parker joined long-time friends and colleagues: Gary Grewe and Bill Appelbaum to form R-Solution Holding, LLC which is a franchisee of Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers and Slim Chickens. R-Solution Holdings has a 50-restaurant development agreement for Freddy’s from Pensacola, FL around the gulf coast down to Ft. Myers, FL and a 50-restaurant development agreement for Slim Chickens in portions of IL & MO. In 2022, Parker rejoined Halstead Developers to assist with a multitude of projects in the production stage and additional projects in the planning stage.

Zac

Gibbs

Executive Vice President

Zac Gibbs joined the Halstead team in 2018 and has added several Multi-Family/Mixed-Use projects to the Halstead portfolio. Zac is passionate about creating sustainable developments that highlight the unique characteristics of a local community. Building connections between people and places that encourage collaboration is essential for a development’s long- term vibrancy and viability. Zac is a graduate of Auburn University where he studied Finance and International Economics and has 17 years of experience in the construction industry. Zac is active in the regional community serving on numerous boards, notably, Board of Directors for the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce. Zac and his wife Jennifer reside in Pike Road, AL with their three boys Gunner, Hudson and Turner.​

Steve

Cox

Chief Financial Officer

Steve Cox earned a B.S. degree in Commerce and Business Administration from the University of Alabama in 1982, and achieved the degree of Certified Public Accountant (inactive) in 1988. Having joined Halstead in 2007, Cox offers more than 30 years experience in the construction industry, including the positions of Chief Financial Officer, Controller and Secretary-Treasurer for International and regional construction companies. He has consistently identified critical opportunities to add to the bottom line, while formulating successful strategies to reduce costs and improve financial strength. In addition to his finance and business development oversight roles at Halstead, Steve is responsible for the company’s accounting, tax, asset management, risk management and treasury services.
